What program will you be taking in post-secondary and why does it interest you?
I will be attending University of Victoria, studying History in the faculty of humanities. I’ve always been very fascinated with culture, language, and the history of the world because I believe it is such an important thing to be aware of and even grateful for when we are going about our lives and moving this amazing society forward.
Tell us a little bit about your background (growing up, going to school, extra-curricular activities, etc.).
So I am Pilipino, I grew up in Richmond, British Columbia until I was about 15/16, then moved to Calgary, Alberta with my family then shortly after moved back to B.C. I love swimming, nature (the outdoors), skincare, I love reading, and I love organizing and writing things out and making sure things are in order.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I competed in a swim club when I was growing up, so I wanted to be a professional swimmer.
What was your senior quote in high school?
What are you looking forward to in your freshman year?
Honestly, just going back to school, working hard again, and figuring out what I want to do with my life.
