On June 27th, our biggest annual event, Night for Bright Minds, celebrated our special community of Beedie Luminaries and welcomed 167 bright minds joining the program across our four scholarship streams - the largest intake of scholarship recipients to date! The evening was filled with heartfelt moments, laughter and celebration.

The Vancouver Convention Centre opened its doors to our donors, mentors, partners, supporters, students’ families, and our nearly 800 Beedie Luminaries Scholarship recipients, from over 45 B.C. municipalities. This year, the event, generously sponsored by the Royal Bank, featured an inspiring keynote speaker Warren Macdonald.

In addition to celebrating our new cohort and alumni students, Ryan Beedie shared his excitement for the new BUILD Scholarship, which will award up to $20,000 per student to an additional 25 recipients pursuing skilled trades.

A huge congratulations to all of our incredible recipients and the 40+ graduating students who are now embarking on the next chapter of their lives! Oh, the places you'll go!
