Scholarship Programs

SHINE

Soaring Higher IN Education

Up to $44,000 per student /
4-year undergraduate degree or $22,000 per student / 2-year college diploma/certificate or trade-school foundation programs for promising Grade 12 students in British Columbia.

With up to $20,000 in funding, the BUILD Program supports tradespeople on their journey to Red Seal Certification in carpentry, electrical (construction), plumbing, welding, and sheet metal.

Refugee & Immigrant
Student Education Award

Up to $44,000 per full-time student / $11,000 per year up to 4-years of funding or $33,000 per part-time student / $5,500 per year up to 6-years of funding for refugees and immigrants who are looking to pursue post-secondary education, as a platform for them to rebuild their lives in Canada.

Single Parent Award for
Resilience & Knowledge

Up to $44,000 per full-time student / $11,000 per year up to 4-years of funding or $33,000 per part-time student / $5,500 per year up to 6-years of funding for single parents who want to further their education and provide more opportunities for their families.

The Graduate Studies Program provides additional financial and wrap-around support for Beedie Luminaries Alumni who plan to pursue eligible graduate programs in their chosen fields at public post-secondary institutions across Canada.

Beedie Luminaries is a social-profit enterprise designed to help remove barriers to education and provide wrap-around support for promising students who are facing financial adversity. Students who are smart, but constrained by circumstance. Students who are ready to rise above their circumstances and achieve their dreams.
