Working alongside her father, Dr. James McEwen, and brother Jeff, Jenn manages a variety of company investments as well as administrates the McEwen Family Charitable Trust, a private foundation created to meet the needs of the family’s philanthropic endeavours. Their Canadian charity donates awards for post-secondary education, supports innovators within a range of disciplines, funds people and technologies that improve the well-being of individuals diagnosed with fatal or life-threatening illness, assists children with congenital disorders, and provides opportunities for long-term and sustainable improvement in the lives of those experiencing poverty.
Based out of Vancouver, Delfi Medical Innovations Inc. deploys technology developed by Dr. McEwen in children’s hospitals, surgical centers, military units, professional and collegiate sports teams, and rehabilitation clinics all around the world. Jenn spends her free time volunteering for the Vancouver Island Amateur Hockey Association aiding in community programming and access for children and youth ages five to twenty-one. She lives in Victoria with her husband of twenty-seven years and has five children. Jenn is honoured to be a supporter of Beedie Luminaries and looks forward to working together to support the future of humankind through affordable education.
