APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN!

Education can offer life-changing opportunities, but every year, too many bright, driven students from disadvantaged backgrounds make the decision not to pursue post-secondary education because they can't afford it. We're here to help.

Applications close December 15th at 1PM (PST). Apply now.

SINA ALLEN (BEng)

When Sina Allen received the Beedie Luminaries Scholarship back in 2020, his main goal was simple: find his footing in his first year at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Little did he know that just five years later, he’d be designing the future with one of the world’s most innovative companies.

After graduating from UBC’s Mechanical Engineering program with a focus in Mechatronics, Sina has already left his mark beyond Canadian borders. During his degree, he completed two internships in Palo Alto, California, working as a Mechanical Design Engineer Intern at Tesla Inc. – contributing to projects with real-world impact in the US and beyond.
