Why did you decide to become a mentor with Beedie Luminaries?
I wish to make a difference in the lives of as many as I can. My mentor, Kelly Heed, has taught me to always share knowledge and wisdom. I have learnt a great deal from Kelly and my other mentors, and I wish to share what I have learned, as it has altered my life in the best way.
What was your favourite subject in school?
History, English, arts.
What was your first job? What was your biggest takeaway from that experience?
McDonald’s, I learned about customer service, management, hospitality and most importantly, patience and how to stay calm during busy times.
What are the three qualities that got you where you are today?
An innate belief that I CAN accomplish anything I desire, resilience, and my personality.
Do you have a “favourite failure” of yours?
I do not believe in the word “failure”. I believe that we have chosen every experience and even those that we consider as a failure, has happened for the best of us. My favorite quote is “nothing happens to you; it happens for you.

What advice would you give to post-secondary students as they prepare to transition into the working world?
With hard work, determination, self care (mind, body, and soul) and self belief, you can and YOU WLL accomplish your dreams. You just have to believe that you can….
What / where is your happy place?
My home.
What is a dream you have that you have yet to achieve?
To meditate under the Great Pyramids in Egypt.
