What is your field of study and why does it interest you?
My current field of study is Biomedical Physiology at SFU. In general, I want to work in the healthcare field. I chose this degree because it will give me the opportunity to have a solid foundation in health sciences before moving into a specialty career like nursing.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
“Never be afraid to dream big when it comes to career planning.”
What would you name the autobiography of your life?
“Taking over me”

Your life. Your decisions.
What was the last experience that made you a better person?
Today. By watching a video of 45 life lessons from a 90-year-old.
What is something you learned in the last week?
Regular exercise improves our brain performance.
What’s the coolest (or most important) trend you see today?
Turning our economy to a more sustainable one.
Who inspires you and why?
Characters in books. For me, when I see a super hard-working character in a book, it is like shadowing a positive role model in real life.
What would people be surprised to find out about you?
I don’t use social media platforms, prefer emailing or calling.
What is your favourite thing about being a part of Beedie Luminaries?
I can make myself a brighter, stronger version of myself with all the support and appreciation I receive from the Beedie Luminaries community.
