What program will you be taking in post-secondary and why does it interest you?
Douglas college for the first two years and then SFU or UBC. Psychology because I’m really passionate about people and their complicated nature/ emotions.
Tell us a little bit about your background (growing up, going to school, extra-curricular activities, etc.).
I was born in Syria, then I left to Jordan when I was in grade 5 ,and that’s after the war in my country started. Fun fact, I remember being always the top student in the class.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A dentist just like my uncle.
What was your senior quote in high school?
I didn’t choose any.
What are you looking forward to in your freshman year?
I look forward to meeting new people, have more opportunities and start the journey of seeking knowledge/skills/experience that will benefit me, my society and hopefully the whole world!!!

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Always pray and you will see miracles.
What was the last book you read?
The last and favourite book I read so far is “ Islam Between East and West “ by Alija Izetbegović.

I’m not good with remembering numbers like my phone number , home Address and yes not even my birthday.
