What is your field of study and why does it interest you?
I’m studying marketing and business tech management. In our fast-paced society, marketing is a very dynamic, adaptive, and constantly evolving space which presents a myriad of opportunities to for me to grow and be innovative.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
“Don’t make a choice, unless there is a choice to make.”
What would you name the autobiography of your life?
Dreams Come True.
Do you have a motto or personal mantra?
Live and let live.
What was the last experience that made you a better person?
I was in a Zoom conference when I noticed another participant looked upset on video and I privately messaged her in which she told me she had failed one of her exams. We talked after the event and later became friends. I was reminded to be attuned to my surroundings and to be empathetic to others, you never know what someone in the room may be experiencing.
What is something you learned in the last week?
Some of the best opportunities you come across in life are from the most unexpected encounters. Don’t limit yourself to what’s out there, be bold to give different activities a chance.
What’s the coolest (or most important) trend you see today?
Influencer marketing, especially with the rise of TikTok, how will companies leverage the platform and its creators to reach their audiences?
Who inspires you and why?
My father. He has spent the last 12 years of his life helping towards humanitarian causes. Growing up, he has shown me what it means to make a social impact and be empathetic towards others. These lessons resonate with me more and more as I grow up because I want to make a positive impact on others.
What would people be surprised to find out about you?
I’m a black belt in taekwondo! I did it for 6 years and that sparked my interest in kick-boxing.
