Castanet Repost: Five Kelowna students land major BC scholarships
Five Kelowna students are among 310 recipients across British Columbia to receive Beedie Luminaries scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Mina Thantassane, Nouran Abdalla, Jibril Ashour and Farah Alasaf each received a SHINE scholarship, which supports Grade 12 students facing socio-economic barriers as they head into post-secondary education.
Chantelle Pinette received a SPARK award, which is designed for single parents pursuing higher education.
