APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN!

Education can offer life-changing opportunities, but every year, too many bright, driven students from disadvantaged backgrounds make the decision not to pursue post-secondary education because they can't afford it. We're here to help.

Applications close December 15th at 1PM (PST). Apply now.

Celebrating Black History Month: Resource Catalog 2022

“Black history is not just for Black people – Black history is Canadian history.” – Hon. Jean Augustine PC CM OOnt CBE, Canadian educationalist, social advocate and politician. She was the first Black Canadian woman to serve as a federal Minister of the Crown and Member of Parliament.

In 2021, we invited our Beedie Luminary community to share educational resources related to the Black excellence and the enormous contributions of Black peoples to society.

From these submissions, we curated a catalogue of recommended readings, movies, art and other inspirations. This developing resource is part of our ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion – thank you for sending us further additions!
