Anisha holds a Doctorate in Postsecondary Education and a Master’s Degree in Counselling with a specialization in student affairs. Her doctorate scholarship focused on the experiences of first-generation students of color. Anisha’s knowledge and expertise spans 20 years in the areas of student services, student enrolment, academic advising, equity, diversity, and inclusion. She also has over 10 years of university instruction experience and has taught at several universities in the United States and Canada.
For fun, Anisha loves to travel, cook, give back to the community and spend time with her family. Anisha respectfully acknowledges that she is a settler immigrant and is thankful for the opportunity to live on the unceded and traditional territories of the Tsleil-Waututh (səl̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ), Kwikwetlem (kʷikʷəƛ̓əm), Squamish (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw), and Musqueam (xʷməθkʷəy̓əm) Nations.
