CAROL MARTINA

Carol Martina recently retired from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) after a rewarding 20-year career, where she developed and managed innovative high school partnerships and trades dual credit pathways. 

With an English degree from York University, Carol is also a two-time BCIT graduate, holding a Broadcast Journalism Diploma and an Office Administrator with Technology Certificate. Her diverse educational background has demonstrated how a robust education can open doors and support career development. In 2022, she received a BCIT Employee Excellence Award in recognition of her collaborative contributions and leadership.

Carol remains passionate about enhancing educational pathways and fostering partnerships that benefit students and communities. She is honored and excited to be part of the BUILD Scholarship Selection Committee.
