June is a graduate of the University of British Columbia with a BA in Political Science and Law & Society.
During her studies, she joined the City of Burnaby’s Parks, Recreation and Culture department, where she developed municipal recreation and educational programs for children and youth in underserved communities across the Lower Mainland.
Concurrently, she gained hands-on experience in experiential marketing through a Toronto-based creative agency, CRUEL, supporting digital and in-person campaigns for national food and beverage brands and coordinating large-scale events across British Columbia. It was in this role that she discovered her passion for storytelling, brand strategy, and all-things marketing.
Outside of work, June spends her time outdoors taking in ocean and mountain views. She is an avid strawberry ice cream enthusiast, a home cook in progress, and loves to start her mornings with op-eds and a coffee!
