MICHAELA BRAY

With a strong passion for supporting community and helping others, Michaela is dedicated to empowering children and youth, especially those facing barriers. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Developmental Psychology, Michaela has spent over 12 years as Senior Manager at Make-A-Wish Canada, where she spearheaded impactful programs and collaborated with families, volunteers, and healthcare professionals to create life-changing experiences for children with critical illnesses.

Michaela’s roots trace back to Halifax, Nova Scotia, though her heart lies in the great outdoors of the West Coast. Whether it’s hiking, practicing yoga, or exploring the trails with her family and dogs, she thrives in nature. A self-proclaimed “hippie in disguise,” Michaela also finds joy in writing, using storytelling as a way to connect with others and share meaningful experiences. Her love for travel has taken her to places near and far, broadening her perspective and deepening her understanding of diverse cultures.

With a career steeped in community connection and a personal love for adventure, creativity, and self-expression, Michaela is excited to bring her dedication and unique perspective to the team at Beedie Luminaries.
