SHEILA MUINGA

At McGill University, Sheila Muinga serves as a Program Assistant in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, supporting the Surgical Foundations program and residents with a focus on coordination, communication, and administrative excellence. In this role, she facilitates program operations, assists medical students and faculty, and contributes to the smooth delivery of educational initiatives within the university.

Sheila brings over ten years of experience in both the hospitality and education sectors, having previously worked as a Registration Specialist at BCIT and held roles in renowned hotel brands such as Accor and Marriott across Asia and the Middle East. Her background in tourism and hospitality informs her strong commitment to service and her ability to thrive in dynamic, multicultural environments.

Sheila holds an MBA in International Hotel and Tourism Management from Vatel International Business School in France and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Hotel and Resort Management from SUNY College of Technology at Delhi in the United States. She is also pursued studies in Nonprofit Management, further deepening her dedication to community engagement and youth empowerment.
