MIKE PERAGINE

Mike Peragine is the Director of Student Recruitment and Admissions at Simon Fraser University, where he leads strategic recruitment and admissions initiatives aimed at increasing access to post-secondary education for students from diverse backgrounds.  He completed both his BA in Communication and his MEd in Higher Education Leadership at SFU.  With extensive experience in student engagement, enrollment management, and post-secondary leadership, Mike has dedicated his career to helping students navigate their pathways to higher education and achieve their academic goals.

Throughout his twenty plus year career, Mike has worked closely with students, families, schools, and community partners across British Columbia and beyond, developing programs and outreach initiatives that promote educational opportunity and student success. His commitment to equity, access, and student-centered decision-making provides valuable perspective in assessing applications and recognizing student achievement. Mike brings a holistic understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing today’s learners, along with a strong belief in the transformative power of education.
