CHERRY WANG

Since joining the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2012, Cherry has held a range advisory and leadership roles in student advising and recruitment. Cherry has built expertise in student recruitment strategies, virtual engagement, leads management, and helping connect talented students from around the world with educational opportunities at one of Canada’s leading universities. In her current role as Manager, Global Recruitment, she leads international undergraduate recruitment strategies within UBC’s International Student Initiative, advancing the university’s global enrolment goals.

Cherry earned her Bachelor of Science degree in medical biochemistry from the University of British Columbia, where she was actively involved in leadership development programs, student engagement initiatives, and campus community building.
